About Nettorekenaar

Nettorekenaar is a small website with salary and tax calculators for the Netherlands. It is built by web developer Aryan (YanForge).

We are not tax advisers and we are not part of the Dutch government.

Where do the figures come from?

All rates, thresholds and tax credits come from official sources: the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst), the Dutch government (Rijksoverheid) and business.gov.nl. Each tool lists its sources and the date we last checked the figures.

How do we check the calculations?

• Every calculation rule has automated tests with examples worked out by hand.
• We compare examples with the Belastingdienst's own calculators.
• We add new rates as soon as the Belastingdienst publishes them, usually in December. Proposals that are not yet law are clearly marked as proposals.
